A Washington State University criminal justice graduate student has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students. Bryan Kohberger, was arrested in Pennsylvania and now faces extradition back to Idaho to face first degree murder charges. On November 13, 2022, police found the four college students dead in their home near the University of Idaho campus. Mr. Kohberger had been a student at Washington State University, which is about 10 miles from the University of Idaho campus. Idaho authorities announced that their investigation was on-going, and they have not ruled out the possibility of other suspects. Mr. Kohberger will now have the right to an extradition hearing to contest his return to Idaho to face charges.
